Value #2: Intentional

We know. We can’t believe it either. We are more than three years in to our Bible study podcast, and we are still able to talk about tea and biscuits. It genuinely surprises us every time that there’s more to say!

But don’t be fooled. Our tea and biscuit chat, as we like to call it, isn’t just a time filler but an essential component of our next value - intentionality. Whilst we do just love a cup of tea together, we also value how sharing that cuppa paves the way for deeper conversation. And our aim is that the conversation that follows is always thoughtful and considered on the realities of getting the Bible open in everyday life.

And so before we get into the thick of Bible study together, we chat through a whole host of different topics - just for a couple of minutes or so, but topics that we think are important. Conversation that relates to the Bible book we’re in. Conversation that helps to de-mystify what getting the Bible open can look like in everyday life. Conversation that centres on the reality of the Lord being at work through his life-giving Word.

As we commit this podcast to being a Bible study podcast for everyday life, we are wholly committed to thoughtful, considered conversation that doesn’t waste your time, but seeks to encourage and equip you, so that you too can delve into intentional conversation as you study the Bible with others.
