Why a Pop Up Shop?
Throughout this joyful podcasting journey, we have been inviting you to join us as we stick the kettle on, grab our Bibles and get God’s Word open in our everyday lives. As we chat over a cuppa, biscuit in hand, we love to drive that Word to the heart and let it move from the page into the nitty gritty of life. We hope, and pray, that you’ve known God to be at work, by His Spirit, as you too have spent time in His precious Word. It’s been hugely encouraging for us to hear about how you’ve been encouraged by our conversations, and how they have prompted you to chat with others, maybe even over a cuppa.
When we pressed the record button over two years ago and started this podcast, we didn’t realise how much the Lord was going to use our conversations to help people get into His Word, and to encourage you - and us - along the way. What a joy!
It’s been the biggest privilege to spend ourselves in this way, but as we continue to work out the juggle of family, local ministry and podcasting, we are increasingly aware of our limits! And so in order to continue doing what we’re doing, we’d like to raise some additional funds to make it more sustainable for the longer term. Realistically what that looks like at the moment, is getting some help with our communications, social media and editing.
And so we bring you…the Two Sisters and a Cup of Tea pop-up shop! For a limited time only, we will be selling beautiful, customised mugs, biscuit tins and notecards, all with the purpose of encouraging your hearts (and tea-drinking habits!). We hope that the items will encourage you, and others, as well as do the necessary work of raising some funds to help us continue.
The shop will be available on our website (www.twosistersandacupoftea.com/shop) and is open from 30th August-15th September. If you would like to support us, but don’t want to buy anything, there will also be the means of doing that on the same page.
The shop is open for those in the UK and the USA. Anything you buy will be on the understanding that you are pre-ordering it, and items will be delivered during November, in good time for Christmas.
